(Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened at record highs on Monday (NASDAQ:MNDY ) as optimism on proposed tax cuts and expectations of an easier regulatory environment after Donald Trump won the U.S. presidency continued to lift stocks.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 254.75 points, or 0.58%, at the open to 44,243.74. The S&P 500 rose 13.3 points, or 0.22%, at the open to 6008.86, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 68.6 points, or 0.36%, to 19355.338 at the opening bell.
