Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking , Tourism and Electricity sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Borusan Yatirim ve Pazarlama AS (IS:BRYAT ), which rose 9.96% or 205.00 points to trade at 2,264.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Borusan Birlesik Boru Fabrikalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:BRSAN ) added 9.96% or 45.25 points to end at 499.75 and Bera Holding AS (IS:BERA ) was up 6.14% or 0.96 points to 16.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Turkiye Halk Bankasi (IS:HALKB ), which fell 5.53% or 0.95 points to trade at 16.22 at the close. Turkiye Sinai Kalkinma Bankasi AS (IS:TSKB ) declined 3.88% or 0.47 points to end at 11.64 and Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAL ) was down 3.65% or 0.86 points to 22.72.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 364 to 195 and 18 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.08% or 1.95 to $2,526.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.28% or 0.19 to hit $67.86 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $71.06 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.28% to 34.04, while EUR/TRY fell 0.33% to 37.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 101.57.
