Tesla car crashes and catches fire in France, killing four people - AP

Investing.com -- Four people have died in a car crash in France involving a Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA ) vehicle that hit a road sign and caught fire, according the Associated Press.

Citing local police, the news agency said the details of the crash, which took place late Saturday outside the city of Niort, had yet to be determined and an investigation into the incident was underway.

Local police added that there were no witnesses to the event, while the driver and all three of the passengers were burnt beyond recognition, the AP reported.
