Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials , Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA ), which rose 0.43% or 0.14 points to trade at 32.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb ) added 0.35% or 0.02 points to end at 6.24 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb ) was up 0.34% or 0.30 points to 95.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb ), which fell 3.47% or 6.60 points to trade at 183.40 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND ) declined 3.37% or 7.10 points to end at 203.80 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb ) was down 3.16% or 2.50 points to 75.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 463 to 305 and 80 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA ) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.43% or 0.14 to 32.76. Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb ) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.16% or 2.50 to 75.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.87% or 0.61 to $69.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.56 to hit $73.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 2.75 to trade at $2,525.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.14% to 11.39, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 10.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 101.33.
