Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.04%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Basic Materials , Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.04%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb ), which rose 2.26% or 3.90 points to trade at 173.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb ) added 0.76% or 0.58 points to end at 77.04 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa ) was up 0.50% or 0.75 points to 151.05 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH ), which fell 1.99% or 0.57 points to trade at 28.04 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b ) declined 1.28% or 1.45 points to end at 112.15 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb ) was down 1.26% or 1.90 points to 148.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 450 to 310 and 87 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.21% or 2.39 to $76.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.06% or 2.39 to hit $80.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 3.35 to trade at $2,664.45 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.21% to 11.37, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 10.36.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 102.23.
