Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials , Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb ), which rose 6.37% or 4.80 points to trade at 79.90 at the close. Meanwhile, NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb ) added 6.17% or 2.90 points to end at 49.60 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb ) was up 5.14% or 9.60 points to 196.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb ), which fell 5.09% or 11.90 points to trade at 221.20 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb ) declined 1.48% or 4.80 points to end at 319.50 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b ) was down 1.06% or 1.25 points to 117.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 426 to 328 and 77 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.61% or 1.11 to $70.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.35% or 0.98 to hit $73.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 17.35 to trade at $2,591.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.09% to 11.33, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 10.19.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 100.61.
