Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Basic Materials , Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb ), which rose 1.45% or 1.20 points to trade at 80.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb ) added 1.29% or 1.40 points to end at 106.40 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH ) was up 1.22% or 0.34 points to 28.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb ), which fell 2.29% or 0.17 points to trade at 7.33 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG ) declined 1.75% or 17.20 points to end at 963.40 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb ) was down 1.03% or 2.20 points to 211.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 371 to 364 and 92 ended unchanged.
Shares in Evolution AB (ST:EVOG ) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.75% or 17.20 to 963.40.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.33% or 0.24 to $73.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.58% or 0.45 to hit $76.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 2.25 to trade at $2,633.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 11.38, while USD/SEK rose 0.65% to 10.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 102.60.
