Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.46% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.46 per cent down at 959.05.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:00AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 4.89 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.3 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 1.46 per cent at 959.05 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 74.06 points at 22678.9, while the BSE Sensex was up 260.62 points at 74743.4.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, REC and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Pearl Polymers, Geojit Financial, Ram Ratna Wire, Uravi T and Wedge and Hindustan Motor hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Adroit Infotech (PP), Kotak Bank, Osia Hyper Retail, Keerti Knowledge and Gloster hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
