Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.14% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.14 per cent down at 954.75.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:39AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 0.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 2.94 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.71 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.97 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 1.14 per cent at 954.75 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 43.0 points at 22445.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 169.04 points at 74021.98.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Kotak Bank, South Indian Bnk and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Raj Oil Mills, GPT Infraproj, Commercial Engg, Shradha Infraproject and IZMO hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Kotak Bank, Atal Realtech, Melstar Info, Regency Ceramic and Future Enterprises (DVR)hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
