Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.1% in a weak market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.1 per cent down at 978.35.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:34AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 1.1 per cent at 978.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 89.96 points at 22352.75, while the BSE Sensex was down 324.11 points at 73571.43.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, PNB and GMR Infra were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Selan Expl Tech, Allsec Tech, CG Power & Ind., Bigbloc Const and Centrum Capital hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Flexituff Ventures, Atal Realtech, Best Agrolife, Anmol India and Keerti Knowledge hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
