Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.33%

On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.76 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 2.46 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.33 per cent down at 1101.05.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 131.36 points at 24141.95, while the BSE Sensex stood up 443.46 points at 79476.19.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 ended in the green, while 17 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato, PNB and RattanIndia Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Rane Holdings, Roto Pumps, Nahar Poly Film, Wockhardt and Atul Auto hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Hilton Metal, Akme Fintrade(India, Baid Leasing, GIR Natureview and Rajvir Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows.
