Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.36% in an upbeat market

The Nifty Realty index was up 1.36 per cent at 871.05 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 23.0 points at 22034.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 36.67 points at 72677.86.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Indian Railway Fin, Tata Steel and NHPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Jyoti CNC Automation, Ausom Enterprise, The Hi-Tech Gears, eMudhra and Shriram Pistons hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Medico Remedies, Keerti Knowledge, SCI Land and Assets, M K Proteins and Akshar Spintex hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
