Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.34% in an upbeat market

Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.42 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.06 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 1.34 per cent at 1083.8 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 38.45 points at 23328.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 39.22 points at 76732.58.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, IRB Infra Dev., NHPC and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Zenith Exports, Likhitha Infra, Premier Exp, Rallis India and Jain Irrigation hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Neueon Towers, Bohra Industries, Borosil Scientific, Melstar Info and Compuage Infocom hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
