Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.05% in a weak market

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 0.63 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.07 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 1.05 per cent at 975.15 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 16.05 points at 22184.5, while the BSE Sensex was down 23.36 points at 72963.67.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, RattanIndia Power, Canara Bank and NHPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Kirloskar Bros., Kirloskar Ind, Aadhar Housing Fin, Oberoi Realty and Welspun Ent hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Brightcom Group, N K Industries, Twentyfirst Cent, Eurotex Ind and Butterfly Gandhi hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
