Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.79% in a weak market

DLF Ltd.(down 1.7 per cent) and Swan Energy Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.79 per cent at 947.35 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 28.6 points at 22433.4, while the BSE Sensex was down 107.95 points at 73906.6.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Aditya Birla Retail, BEL and South Indian Bnk were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Meghmani Finechem, Nila Spaces L, Lokesh Machines, HG Infra Engg and Wealth First Port hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Lakshmi Precis, Euro India Fresh, 3rd Rock MultiMedia, Norben Tea Exp and Mask Investments hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
