Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.16% in an upbeat market

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.48 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.11 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.16 per cent at 1097.55 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 137.91 points at 23402.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 461.47 points at 76918.06.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Hind Const Co, IRB Infra Dev., Reliance Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Panache Digilife, Marine Electricals, HEC Infra Projects, Zenith Exports and Kirloskar Bros. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Mask Investments, Kronox Lab Sciences, Sanginita Chemicals, TV Vision and Supreme Infra hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
