Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.16% in a weak market

Sobha Ltd.(down 1.32 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.9 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.01 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.16 per cent at 962.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 98.6 points at 22655.2, while the BSE Sensex was down 365.83 points at 74672.32.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Reliance Power, Reliance Infra and Bharti Hexacom were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Ashiana Housing, D P Abhushan, Ramco Systems, Krystal Integrated and Atlanta Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while MEP Infrastructure, Visagar Polytex, Stampede Cap, Antarctica Ltd and Mittal Life Style hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
