Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.1% in an upbeat market

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent), Swan Energy Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.3 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.1 per cent at 925.8 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 9.56 points at 22425.1, while the BSE Sensex was up 19.63 points at 73896.45.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, PNB and Indian Renewable were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of KEC Int., GE Power India, The Anup Engg, Reliance Infra and SRM Contractors hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Shree Vasu Logistics, Naga Dhunseri Group, DCM Financial, 3rd Rock MultiMedia and Mask Investments hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
