NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index traded positive around 11:10AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.Bandhan Bank Ltd.(up 2.48 per cent), Federal Bank Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent) and Punjab National Bank(up 0.77 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 257.4 points at 23078.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 904.49 points at 75979.0.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, RattanIndia Power, IRB Infra Dev. and NHPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Zenith Exports, Cords Cable Ind, HPL Electric Power, AdityaBirlaMoney and Avanti Feeds hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Compuage Infocom, Neueon Towers, Ambica Agarbathi, Future Supply Chain and Keerti Knowledge hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
