Shriram Finance shares rise 1.74% as Sensex slides

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

The stock of Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 93200.15 crore.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 14.03, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.08. Return on equity (ROE) was at 13.87 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 137 stocks traded in the green, while 363 stocks were in the red.
Promotor Holding
Promoters held 25.43 per cent in the Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2023 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 53.97 per cent and 15.58 per cent, respectively.
