Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: ITC(Rs. 2649.77 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 1791.79 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1487.80 crore), NHPC(Rs. 663.74 crore), APL Apollo Tube(Rs. 649.45 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 600.56 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 549.87 crore), Power Grid(Rs. 531.60 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 523.64 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 517.29 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:10AM in Wednesday's session.The NSE Nifty index traded 86.5 points down at 22249.2, while BSE Sensex was down 142.56 points at 73525.4 as of 11:10AM(IST)on March 13.
In the Nifty index, ITC Ltd.(up 6.47 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.64 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.02 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 5.91 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 5.39 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 5.27 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 4.57 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 3.68 per cent) were among the top losers.
