Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials , Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI fell 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS ), which rose 1.88% or 0.09 points to trade at 4.89 at the close. Meanwhile, Nos SGPS SA (ELI:NOS ) added 0.70% or 0.03 points to end at 3.60 and Ibersol SGPS (ELI:IBS ) was up 0.55% or 0.04 points to 7.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI:RENE ), which fell 0.84% or 0.02 points to trade at 2.36 at the close. Galp Energia Nom (ELI:GALP ) declined 0.78% or 0.15 points to end at 18.99 and Corticeira Amorim (ELI:CORA ) was down 0.67% or 0.06 points to 8.83.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 15 to 13 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.47% or 1.14 to $78.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.95% or 1.45 to hit $75.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 16.45 to trade at $2,554.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.35% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 101.26.
