Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Utilities and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI rose 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS ), which rose 1.49% or 0.07 points to trade at 5.03 at the close. Meanwhile, Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:MOTA ) added 1.12% or 0.03 points to end at 2.53 and Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (ELI:JMT ) was up 1.08% or 0.18 points to 16.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nos SGPS SA (ELI:NOS ), which fell 0.96% or 0.04 points to trade at 3.61 at the close. The Navigator Company SA (ELI:NVGR ) declined 0.73% or 0.03 points to end at 3.56 and Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP ) was 0.35% or 0.00 points to 0.42.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 13 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.73% or 1.29 to $75.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.75% or 1.23 to hit $71.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $2,748.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.16% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.06.
