Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG ), which rose 1.56% or 17.00 points to trade at 1,105.00 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS ) added 1.42% or 1.80 points to end at 128.60 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR ) was up 1.32% or 0.85 points to 65.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR ), which fell 1.56% or 4.45 points to trade at 280.45 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM ) declined 1.53% or 9.00 points to end at 581.00 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL ) was down 1.44% or 0.08 points to 5.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 150 to 138 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.56% or 1.12 to $73.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.53% or 1.16 to hit $77.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 31.80 to trade at $2,515.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.35% to 11.76, while USD/NOK rose 0.75% to 10.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 101.36.
