Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.97%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate , Utilities and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.97%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE:SOT ), which rose 3.78% or 35.00 points to trade at 960.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Aradei Capital SA (CSE:ARD ) added 2.56% or 13.00 points to end at 520.00 and Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM ) was up 1.90% or 8.45 points to 452.45 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:STR ), which fell 5.14% or 2.98 points to trade at 55.00 at the close. Jet Contractors (CSE:JET ) declined 4.56% or 55.00 points to end at 1,150.00 and S2M (CSE:S2M ) was down 4.55% or 10.00 points to 210.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 35 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.46% or 3.44 to $73.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.37% or 3.54 to hit $77.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.19% or 31.70 to trade at $2,634.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.05% to 10.77, while USD/MAD fell 0.17% to 9.81.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 102.34.
