Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.33%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper , Pharmaceutical Industry and Utilities sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.33%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CTM (CSE:CTM ), which rose 6.39% or 39.60 points to trade at 659.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM ) added 5.81% or 26.15 points to end at 476.00 and Delta Holding S.A (CSE:DHO ) was up 3.67% or 1.98 points to 55.99 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Lesieur Cristal (CSE:LES ), which fell 3.47% or 9.90 points to trade at 275.05 at the close. Med Paper (CSE:MDP ) declined 3.15% or 0.67 points to end at 20.60 and Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR ) was down 2.87% or 3.10 points to 104.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 33 to 14 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.32% or 1.70 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.35% or 1.80 to hit $78.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 13.95 to trade at $2,639.95 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.18% to 10.74, while USD/MAD fell 0.15% to 9.82.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 102.79.
