Morocco stocks higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.42%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate , Chemicals and Food Producers & Processors sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC ), which rose 7.32% or 2.78 points to trade at 40.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Jet Contractors (CSE:JET ) added 6.76% or 50.00 points to end at 790.00 and Mutandis SCA (CSE:MUT ) was up 4.61% or 12.50 points to 283.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Cartier Saada (CSE:CRS ), which fell 4.98% or 1.99 points to trade at 37.95 at the close. Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:STR ) declined 3.70% or 2.00 points to end at 52.00 and S2M (CSE:S2M ) was down 3.19% or 7.90 points to 240.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 23 and 11 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jet Contractors (CSE:JET ) rose to all time highs; gaining 6.76% or 50.00 to 790.00. Shares in Mutandis SCA (CSE:MUT ) rose to 3-years highs; rising 4.61% or 12.50 to 283.50.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.39% or 0.96 to $70.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.29% or 0.94 to hit $73.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 9.95 to trade at $2,535.95 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.13% to 10.81, while USD/MAD fell 0.21% to 9.73.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 101.29.
