Italy stocks higher at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 up 0.64%

Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals , Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Amplifon (BIT:AMPF ), which rose 4.51% or 1.16 points to trade at 26.89 at the close. Meanwhile, Recordati (BIT:RECI ) added 2.22% or 1.15 points to end at 53.00 and Bper Banca SpA (BIT:EMII ) was up 2.07% or 0.11 points to 5.22 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ERG (BIT:ERG ), which fell 1.52% or 0.36 points to trade at 23.40 at the close. Tenaris SA (BIT:TENR ) declined 0.97% or 0.14 points to end at 14.74 and Interpump Group (BIT:ITPG ) was down 0.73% or 0.30 points to 41.02.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 258 to 243 and 44 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.29% or 2.45 to $76.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.11% or 2.43 to hit $80.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 3.35 to trade at $2,664.45 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.34% to 0.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.23.
