Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.06%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking , Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.06%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL ), which rose 2.82% or 97.00 points to trade at 3,541.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA ) added 2.78% or 183.00 points to end at 6,762.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT ) was up 2.49% or 730.00 points to 29,990.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA ), which fell 0.80% or 220.00 points to trade at 27,390.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG ) declined 0.77% or 310.00 points to end at 40,000.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE ) was down 0.65% or 19.00 points to 2,889.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 301 to 144 and 94 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.38% or 1.60 to $68.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.03% or 1.43 to hit $72.04 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.46% or 37.15 to trade at $2,579.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 1.25% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS fell 1.02% to 4.11.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.58.
