Finland stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.21%

Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials , Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.21%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM ), which rose 1.36% or 1.25 points to trade at 93.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V ) added 1.22% or 0.04 points to end at 3.64 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE ) was up 1.05% or 0.18 points to 17.38 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT ), which fell 3.10% or 0.92 points to trade at 28.76 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V ) declined 2.24% or 0.80 points to end at 34.90 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO ) was down 1.91% or 0.20 points to 10.29.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 84 to 76 and 30 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.19% or 0.85 to $72.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.20% or 0.82 to hit $69.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 12.35 to trade at $2,655.75 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.33% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 100.36.
