Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities , Technology and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE ), which rose 1.66% or 0.27 points to trade at 16.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV ) added 1.29% or 0.60 points to end at 46.99 and Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB ) was up 1.28% or 0.23 points to 18.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA ), which fell 1.87% or 0.40 points to trade at 20.94 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM ) declined 1.82% or 1.60 points to end at 86.35 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB ) was down 1.65% or 0.10 points to 5.97.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 112 to 56 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB ) fell to 3-years lows; down 1.65% or 0.10 to 5.97.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.37% or 0.98 to $72.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.56% or 1.06 to hit $68.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 3.15 to trade at $2,607.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.42% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.19% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 100.44.
