Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 3.85%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare , Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 3.85% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ), which rose 1.68% or 7.20 points to trade at 435.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ) added 1.50% or 6.80 points to end at 459.40 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG ) was up 0.32% or 0.50 points to 157.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ), which fell 5.37% or 48.20 points to trade at 850.00 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT ) declined 4.35% or 12.20 points to end at 268.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) was down 3.10% or 28.50 points to 889.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 44 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.14% or 0.10 to $71.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.27% or 0.20 to hit $74.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 21.90 to trade at $2,636.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.70, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 100.72.
