Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.79%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare , Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.79%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS ), which rose 3.37% or 4.40 points to trade at 134.90 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb ) added 3.30% or 340.00 points to end at 10,655.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) was up 2.79% or 280.00 points to 10,300.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ), which fell 2.35% or 21.20 points to trade at 882.20 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) declined 2.29% or 21.00 points to end at 895.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ) was down 1.88% or 3.20 points to 166.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 50 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $69.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $73.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 6.90 to trade at $2,599.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.71, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 100.57.
