Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.42%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare , Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.42% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ), which rose 3.37% or 15.50 points to trade at 474.90 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb ) added 2.05% or 220.00 points to end at 10,940.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) was up 1.83% or 190.00 points to 10,550.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB ), which fell 5.51% or 94.50 points to trade at 1,620.50 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) declined 4.10% or 36.50 points to end at 853.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ) was down 2.07% or 17.60 points to 832.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 51 and 26 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.37% or 15.50 to 474.90. Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB ) fell to 3-years lows; falling 5.51% or 94.50 to 1,620.50.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.48% or 0.34 to $70.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.37% or 0.27 to hit $73.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 10.15 to trade at $2,656.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.70, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 100.52.
