Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.74%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.74%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB ), which rose 0.60% or 11.00 points to trade at 1,833.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) added 0.52% or 2.00 points to end at 384.30 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ) was up 0.40% or 1.80 points to 450.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ), which fell 3.58% or 5.90 points to trade at 158.80 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) declined 2.81% or 24.50 points to end at 848.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb ) was down 1.89% or 200.00 points to 10,370.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 56 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.40% or 1.80 to 450.70.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.17% or 2.37 to $77.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.55% or 1.99 to hit $80.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 1.15 to trade at $2,547.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.68, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.74.
