Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.16%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.16%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ), which rose 1.56% or 7.10 points to trade at 462.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT ) added 1.22% or 3.40 points to end at 281.40 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE ) was up 0.87% or 1.80 points to 207.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ), which fell 3.68% or 5.90 points to trade at 153.20 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb ) declined 2.12% or 19.60 points to end at 904.60 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) was down 1.88% or 190.00 points to 9,930.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 60 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.56% or 7.10 to 462.10.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.93% or 0.70 to $74.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.99% or 0.78 to hit $77.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 10.85 to trade at $2,542.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.51% to 6.70, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 100.89.
