Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ), which rose 6.00% or 25.10 points to trade at 443.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ) added 3.24% or 25.20 points to end at 803.40 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) was up 3.12% or 24.00 points to 793.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA ), which fell 1.00% or 10.50 points to trade at 1,044.50 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG ) declined 0.76% or 1.20 points to end at 156.50 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ) was down 0.75% or 1.10 points to 145.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.04% or 2.26 to $76.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.87% or 2.24 to hit $80.29 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 2.05 to trade at $2,665.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 6.79, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.23.
