Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.37%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ), which rose 1.12% or 8.90 points to trade at 802.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA ) added 1.09% or 11.50 points to end at 1,071.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb ) was up 1.07% or 9.20 points to 873.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ), which fell 3.66% or 5.20 points to trade at 136.80 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) declined 3.29% or 15.00 points to end at 440.50 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN ) was down 2.64% or 3.80 points to 140.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 64 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.66% or 5.20 to 136.80.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.84% or 1.35 to $74.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.95% or 1.49 to hit $78.07 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 15.10 to trade at $2,641.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.72.
