Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ), which rose 1.45% or 11.40 points to trade at 798.20 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE:NKT ) added 0.40% or 2.50 points to end at 635.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG ) was up 0.31% or 0.50 points to 159.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb ), which fell 4.88% or 550.00 points to trade at 10,710.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) declined 4.63% or 6.90 points to end at 141.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) was down 4.52% or 490.00 points to 10,360.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 50 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 4.36% or 2.97 to $71.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 4.03% or 2.89 to hit $74.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 27.20 to trade at $2,686.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.74, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 101.00.
