Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.24%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals , Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.24%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ), which rose 2.41% or 68.00 points to trade at 2,894.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb ) added 2.40% or 18.40 points to end at 783.80 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB ) was up 1.55% or 28.50 points to 1,862.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ), which fell 0.58% or 0.90 points to trade at 153.10 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) declined 0.39% or 40.00 points to end at 10,120.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE ) was down 0.34% or 0.70 points to 206.10.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.73% or 1.34 to $76.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.58% or 1.27 to hit $79.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 4.55 to trade at $2,550.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 6.68, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 100.67.
