Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.54%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.54%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE ), which rose 9.22% or 1,060.00 points to trade at 12,560.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS ) added 3.13% or 980.00 points to end at 32,280.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p ) was up 2.96% or 340.00 points to 11,840.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC ), which fell 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB ) declined 3.48% or 300.00 points to end at 8,320.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC ) was down 1.79% or 680.00 points to 37,300.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.72% or 1.75 to $242.30 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 4.69% or 360.00 to hit $7,311.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 2.80 to trade at $2,524.80 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.02% to 4,183.38, while BRL/COP rose 0.29% to 740.50.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 101.69.
