Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.52%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.52%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE ), which rose 9.22% or 1,060.00 points to trade at 12,560.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC ) added 4.98% or 1,800.00 points to end at 37,980.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA ) was up 4.25% or 740.00 points to 18,160.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC ), which fell 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB ) declined 3.48% or 300.00 points to end at 8,320.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p ) was down 1.69% or 300.00 points to 17,400.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.98% or 1,800.00 to 37,980.00.

US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.43% or 3.55 to $244.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.76% or 58.00 to hit $7,671.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.10 to trade at $2,531.70 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.03% to 4,147.26, while BRL/COP rose 0.37% to 738.39.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 101.57.
