Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.20%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.20%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p ), which rose 4.61% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,950.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO ) added 2.91% or 800.00 points to end at 28,300.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA ) was up 2.86% or 1,580.00 points to 56,800.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC ), which fell 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS ) declined 3.82% or 130.00 points to end at 3,270.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS ) was down 2.65% or 880.00 points to 32,320.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.42% or 6.05 to $255.70 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.77% or 222.00 to hit $7,788.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.80 to trade at $2,560.00 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.00% to 4,041.96, while BRL/COP rose 0.14% to 733.62.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.46.
