Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.03%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.03% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB ), which rose 6.67% or 5.00 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p ) added 1.71% or 320.00 points to end at 18,980.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS ) was up 1.15% or 40.00 points to 3,520.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC ), which fell 3.62% or 1,360.00 points to trade at 36,240.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p ) declined 3.21% or 380.00 points to end at 11,440.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG ) was down 1.68% or 300.00 points to 17,600.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.39% or 6.47 to $263.78 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 8.21% or 634.00 to hit $7,088.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 25.40 to trade at $2,684.80 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,221.27, while BRL/COP rose 1.02% to 777.25.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 100.94.
