Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.97%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials , Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.97%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p ), which rose 4.61% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,950.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC:MAS ) added 3.98% or 130.00 points to end at 3,400.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB ) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to 81.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS ), which fell 6.74% or 2,400.00 points to trade at 33,200.00 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC ) declined 4.47% or 500.00 points to end at 10,680.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG ) was down 4.00% or 300.00 points to 7,200.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.79% or 6.78 to $249.68 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.93% or 229.00 to hit $8,040.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 7.30 to trade at $2,553.60 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.10% to 4,029.75, while BRL/COP fell 0.34% to 732.93.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 100.76.
