Chandrababu Naidu effect: Heritage Food, KCP jump up to 40% in unbeaten rally. 7 more gain on Andhra connection

The stocks have been on a rise since Naidu’s sweeping win in the assembly election and Lok Sabha elections. Naidu's TDP in alliance with BJP and Pawan Kalyan's JSP bagged 165 of 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh assembly election, defeating YSRCP's Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Andhra Pradesh-related continued their on Thursday with as the top gainer at 19% followed by N 's son-linked company , which was up 10% around 1:50 pm. Both these stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs of Rs 239 and Rs 601.15, respectively, on the .

The others which saw a rise included & Mobility (9.5%), (8.04%), (5.69%), The (6.11%), Apex Frozen Foods (4.62%), Andhra Petrochemicals (1.26%) and Virat Crane Industries (0.67%).

The stocks have been rallying on Naidu’s sweeping win in the and Lok Sabha elections. Naidu's Telugu Desam Party () in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party (JSP) clinched 165 out of 175 seats in the assembly election, defeating YSRCP's Jagan Mohan Reddy.

While is a Chennai-based company with interest in sugar, power, hospitality and cement, it has a cement plant near Amravati in Andhra Pradesh. KCP's shares have shot up by 36% in the last two sessions.

Heritage Foods has jumped 40% since June 4, the day assembly election results were declared. It has remained undefeated in the last four sessions gaining 47% in the .

Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh is a of Heritage Foods with nearly 11% stake as on March 31, 2024, as per the shareholding data available on the . The other promoters include Bhuvaneshwari Nara and Devaansh Nara who hold 24.37% and 0.06% stakes, respectively, in the company. While the former is the wife of Chandrababu Naidu, the latter is their grandchild. Nara Brahmani who holds 0.46% stake in Heritage Foods is the daughter-in-law.

The above stocks are in buzz with Naidu returning to power and them becoming the beneficiaries.

Crane Infrastructure slipped into the green, though the gains were marginal at 0.05%. The stock was trading at Rs 20.48 around this time.

Not all were winners on Thursday as Manoj Vaibhav Gems 'N' Jewellers fell nearly 1% to the day's low of Rs 226 on the NSE. The stock gained 6% on Wednesday after June 4 results gave him a thumping majority.
