(Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes edged lower on Monday, pausing after gains in the previous week ahead of major earnings reports that could influence whether indexes retreat from record highs or sustain the momentum.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 53.7 points, or 0.12%, at the open to 43,222.21. The S&P 500 fell 6.9 points, or 0.12%, at the open to 5,857.82, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 33.1 points, or 0.18%, to 18,456.481 at the opening bell.
