Tata Power share price  up  0.25 per cent

A total of 509,125 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:11AM (IST).

Shares of traded 0.25 per cent up at Rs 458.85 at around 11:11AM (IST) on Friday. The stock had closed at Rs 457.7 in the previous session. Equity benchmark traded 275.34 points lower at 74335.77 around the same time.


The scrip has climbed 125.15 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 24.23 per cent during the same period.

The stock's 52-week high price stood at Rs 464.3 and the 52-week low price at Rs 199.35.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 509,125 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 38.53, an EPS value of 11.2 and a price-to-book value of 2.11. In the Nifty50 pack, 21 stocks traded in the green, while 29 stocks were in the red.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.86 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while foreign institutional investors and MF ownership stood at 9.44 per cent and 5.59 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2023, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 15294.13 crore, down 4.59 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 16029.54 crore and down 6.19 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 14401.95 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 953.01 crore for the latest quarter.

Technical Indicators
