Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , Plastic and Glass sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted lost 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted were Arima Communications Corp (TW:8101 ), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. Meanwhile, ALi Corp (TW:3041 ) added 51.90% or 10.25 points to end at 30.00 and Chien Kuo Construction Co Ltd (TW:5515 ) was up 15.98% or 3.50 points to 25.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Parpro Corp (TW:4916 ), which fell 9.99% or 3.55 points to trade at 32.00 at the close. Johnson Health Tech Co Ltd (TW:1736 ) declined 9.97% or 17.00 points to end at 153.50 and DrayTek Corp (TW:6216 ) was down 9.94% or 4.95 points to 44.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Arima Communications Corp (TW:8101 ) rose to 3-years highs; up 350.24% or 7.39 to 9.50.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.34% or 0.23 to $67.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.29% or 0.21 to hit $71.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 6.90 to trade at $2,610.80 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was up 0.11% to 32.43, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.18% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 105.61.
