Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare , Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb ), which rose 1.92% or 3.90 points to trade at 207.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb ) added 0.57% or 0.03 points to end at 5.83 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH ) was up 0.38% or 0.12 points to 31.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb ), which fell 3.99% or 4.30 points to trade at 103.60 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA ) declined 3.98% or 1.29 points to end at 31.15 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN ) was down 3.06% or 49.00 points to 1,551.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 499 to 271 and 82 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.99% or 1.34 to $68.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.91% or 1.35 to hit $72.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 16.70 to trade at $2,797.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.66% to 11.58, while USD/SEK rose 0.32% to 10.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 103.95.
